Then, for the next week or so, all I did was watch the replay of the towers getting hit and then collapsing over and over and over...

Since that day I have not watched the news. Not even once. Watching the news will always and forever remind me of the empty feeling and numbing pain I felt that day.

Great post girl.LunaNikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13981677669711596784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1880172708754982238.post-4481652929940175432008-09-11T21:38:00.000-04:002008-09-11T21:38:00.000-04:00Stella,That was so personal and poignant and I hea...Stella,

That was so personal and poignant and I hear you. My in law's town in NJ has a shrine of obelisks to community members that were lost that day, as well as a central oblelisk with all victims' names. We visit that little park every time we are home, and every time I cry. We never will forget, will we?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1880172708754982238.post-50091487448724580462008-09-11T14:32:00.000-04:002008-09-11T14:32:00.000-04:00That was beautifully written, Stella. I'm in tears.

I remember how blue and crisp the sky looked watching the Today show and Matt & Katie cutting away to report a plane hitting one of the Twin Towers. I thought it was a small, private plane.. oh how naive we were back then.

We owe it to the fallen and their loved ones to never forget. Hopefully we keep their memories alive for generations to come.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18008564171806344061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1880172708754982238.post-17477873848362445252008-09-11T12:58:00.000-04:002008-09-11T12:58:00.000-04:00WOW!
